| Introduction | I moved to Tombstone, AZ from Chicago, Illinois where I lived for 37 years. I received my BA in Education from the University of Illinois and my MS from Illinois Institute of Technology. I taught Science, Math, Reading and Computers for 11 years, before I became the Coordinator of the Arizona Statewide Instructional Technology Project in 2005. As Coordinator, I am responsible for the coordination of Technology Integration Specialists who provide training and support to Arizona teachers as they integrate technology into their curriculum. I also teach online for Verizon Thinkfinity. In January of 2011, I was sworn in as School Board Member of Tombstone USD. In my spare time I volunteer at the American Legion and the Animal Shelter in town. I began a new volunteer position as a School Board Member last month. I also try to find time for a good book or two every couple of months. I have two beautiful dogs of my own who love to take their long walks as I hike in the Arizona desert. |
