| Introduction | This is the beginning of many happy posts and discoveries. I am suddenly single - divorced- and find myself bubbling with the excitement of not being afraid. I am enjoying raising my two beautiful children. I am 44, have had wonderful years when I was younger working in the city. Now married, I thought life was on a steady path. That path was covered by an avalanche. So let's dig out and find higher ground. I love to travel, and my children are happiest when we ski and sun on the beach. Who isn't? I think travel makes you a different person when you see the world as a bigger place. I believe in the memories we share as a family when we are on the road. Good and bad, we depend on each other. It is the ultimate trust. |

| Favorite movies | We just saw Atonement, Charlie Wilson's War, I love thrillers and spy movies and I enjoyed Cold Mountain. I do get emotional and find that I cry way too easily. |
| Favorite music | I'm still a Rod Stewart Fan (that gives my age away) and Rolling Stones. I love Etta James, James Blunt and James Taylor, Van Morrison and I love a bit of Credence and the Beatles. |
| Favorite books | I Know This Much Is True was one of the best books I have read. I loved A Prayer for Owen Meany and I loved The Kite Runner and his follow up book. |
