Introduction Ian Wallach is licensed to practice in California and New York, and federal courts (including the U.S. Supreme Court). He clerked in the Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia and aided in drafting the indictment of Milosevic. He represented Guantanamo Bay Detainees in habeas actions. He and Jason Feldman successfully brought the first case against the USA for negligently exposing inmates to valley fever. He as successfully represented the accused in all forms of criminal actions. While a Deputy Public Defender with the County of Los Angeles, had a streak of 17 consecutive acquittals or hangs followed by dismissals. In private practice, he represented one accused of extorting Stevie Wonder, and the trial was ended after the jury being sworn, with the client being released immediately and able to earn an misdemeanor. He has tried over 40 jury trials and many bench trials. He is presently handling many high-profile cases related to officer-shootings, and is co-lead counsel in the first class action to address the Valley Fever epidemic that is facing inmates in the San Joaquin Valley
