| Introduction | I have lived in St. Louis (go Cards and go Mizzou!) for almost my whole life, however my immediate family is spread out and I travel often to TX, CT, ME, and MA to visit them. My mother initially taught me how to knit and I've had lots of encouragement from my family and friends. The obsession grew after reading Stitch 'n Bitch by Debbie Stoller (2003). My knitting book collection and yarn stash became exponentially larger. |
| Interests | I enjoy knitting, scrapbooking, and reading in my spare time. I also like needlepoint. I want to take on commission paid knitting jobs and I want to start a site on Etsy. I also speak German and German culture is one of my interests. I studied for my master's and it is currently on hold. |
| Favorite books | Related to knitting: Stitch 'n Bitch by Debbie Stoller, The Friday Night Knitting Club by Cate Jacobs, Last-Minute Knitted Gifts by Joelle Hoverson, and Free-Range Knitter by Stephanie Pearl McPhee. Non knitting related faves are The Twilight Saga and The Hunger Games series. |
