Lionesses have no manes. How do they know when they've grown up?
Lionesses know they have grown up the same way everyone else knows they have grown up. One day, you are in a public setting, and a group of teenagers is near you, and you want to yell at them to shut up. That is when you know you have grown up. When you can't stand the antics of teenagers anymore.
