Introduction	Why the name "Doug and Mae's Place"? When Kristen was small, she loved to play waitress and would put an apron on and come around and take food and drink orders from us. She had a dalmatian named Mae and decided to name her restaurant "Doug and Mae's Place". So, when I started blogging and was trying to come up with a blog name, Doug and Mae's Place popped in my head.
