About me

Introduction	I am a new blogger but an "old" seamstress who loves quilting, heirloom sewing and other needlecrafts (knitting, crocheting, embroidery, any old and dying craft!) I also enjoy being a grandmother, reading, music and planning home improvement projects that usually are not even started. I am a retired Speech Language Pathologist who loved working with the children but got tired of the paperwork and the bureaucracy - not enough time to really help the kids! Now I try to spend my time doing all the projects that I planned and never started when I was working. My dream is to open a shop where I teach sewing and have quilt and heirloom fabrics available. Maybe sooner than I ever dreamed!
