| Introduction | Words, I love them; whether they come tripping off the tongue or leaping off the page. Because I am mezmerized by the way they can be manipulated to tell any kind of story I became a librarian with a specialty in children's literature. For many years I worked as a children's librarian and then as a community college librarian. For the last four years I had the privilege of being a lead bookseller in the children's department of an NYC Barne's & Noble bookstore where I developed relationships with customers who also believed in the power and magic of books; especially for their children. Returning to Canada to live last September allowed me to concentrate on finishing my first book; a fantasy for older children, and look for an agent. The book is finished but the search for an agent continues. |
