| Introduction | I am the managing editor of newspaper in a small Mississippi Delta city. I am an Independent politically, which sometimes causes issues in a place that has strong Democratic ties in a state that is Republican. I balance daily not only what I print in the newspaper but also what I say so as to offend as few people as possible. I am insatiably curious about everything and love to know both sides of issues. Just because someone says it's true doesn't mean it is. And yes, I'll admit it if I'm wrong. I am a strong believer in volunteering. Every person should do something to make their community and the lives of the neighbors better. I love God and He loves me. However, I'm not the best Catholic and though I do some Bible studies, I'm horrible about going to church. Something to work on. My goal is to create a safe place for conversation and ideas. I hate it when people don't listen to each other. As Dr. Phil always says, "No matter how flat you make it, a pancake has two sides." :-) |
