Introduction I love the old school journeys from an age when everything was a bit more challenging and there were more blanks on the maps. I have travelled widely, preferring the dustier , unloved corners of the world, on foot, bus, donkey, camel and once in a wheelbarrow. My previous book In the Almond Groves of Samarqand is presently in New York with an agent. I was invited to read from it at the Port Eliot Literary Festival 2010. I have worked with the Stranger Collective as an Editorial Assistant on the content for the 2011 Port Eliot website and programme. I am also partial to Polaroid, Holgas, Macs and swallowtails. My new project is The Escape Committee At the beginning of this year I was nominated for, and accepted to work with, the RANE Research Group (in partnership with the Eden Project and Cape Farewell) while still studying a Professional Writing Masters at University College Falmouth. I occasionally writes for Profwriting.com and was represented by the Amana Photo-agency when I lived in Tokyo. I'll be reading again this year at Port Eliot 2011 too...
