Introduction	(Me, Karen, Shorty) I was the proverbial non-athlete in school, and especially hating anything having to do with running. At 40, something clicked, my friend, Karen, got me into trail running, and I've never looked back. I'm having the time of my life!

Favorite movies	GI Jane, Man in the Moon, the Harry Potter movies, Lonesome Dove, Dances with Wolves, and many, many more.
Favorite music	I love music, except hard rock and rap. Depends on my mood. Current favs: Paula Cole, Lady Antebellum, Sara Bareilles, Tina Dico; oldies but goodies
Favorite books	Anything by Janet Evanovich, Cold Mountain, Ava's Man, The Art of Driving in the Rain . . . I love to read just about anything.
