| Introduction | Hi I'm Francesca, and until three years ago I was quite possibly the least sporty person in the world. It was only once I’d finished high school that I actually started triathlon, when my dad dragged me along to a couple of his training sessions.. Lets just say he didn’t have to drag me for very long, I was hooked within a week! Since starting triathlon in 2010 I have progressed through the amateur ranks and have now taken the plunge to try and make it as an elite Triathlete. My current titles include" National Sprint Distance Triathlon Champion. Runner Up Long Distance Triathlon Champion. 4th in NZ at Standard Distance Triathlon. 6th in the world at Sprint Distance Triathlon. Auckland Half Marathon Champion. Part of the North Harbour Bays Cougars team which was runners up at National Road Relays. ... Hopefully there are still a few more to come! |
