| Introduction | In Tokyo and the metropolitan area, the buildings are lined up and the roads are covered with pavement (except for the Imperial Palace and the forest of Meiji Jingu), but in the suburbs of local cities, woods and rice fields still remain and many creatures live there. Kashiwa City is adjacent to the Tone-gawa River and is one of the local cities with plenty of space to live in. I live in the suburb of kashiwa city. There are some cedar forests and vast rice fields. So, Many kinds of creatures live there, I retired from work and have been photographing the creatures in this area for about 10 years. Mainly wild birds, wild grasses including weeds and insects. I shot wild birds with a 700mm telephoto, wild grasses with 85mm micro lens and insects with 300mm medium telephoto lens. What I noticed when I photographed the creatures is that if you observe them carefully, you can see that many kinds are alive. The four seasons in Japan are clear, so the wild birds seen in each season are also interesting. There aren’t as many species as explosive in the tropics, but we can see biodiversity in the sky and in the small world. |
