| Introduction | I have been in the construction and architecture fields for the majority of my life. I watched and "helped" my dad, as a young boy, on his construction sites. In my early to late teens, I worked various construction jobs, remodeling an apartment with my grandpa, installing vinyl siding, an electrician’s laborer, etc... I graduated from Washington State University with a B.S. in Architectural Studies and a Bachelor of Architecture in 1999. From there, I took a job in Delray Beach and Palm Beach Florida with the architecture firm Digby Bridges, Marsh & Associates, P.A., now Bridges, Marsh & Associates. I worked for them as an associate for six years, until my wife and I decided to get out of the rat race (I still do contract work for them, from time to time). We packed our two awesome children in the van, and moved to the quiet, peacefulness of Pomeroy, Washington. |
