Introduction	I am a geek mom, just trying to get through the day and impart to my children the sense of wonder, ingenuity, industry, joy, and compassion that my own childhood held.

Favorite movies	I have dozens of favorite movies. Many of them are cheesy classics from my youth like The Neverending Story, Labyrinth, Beastmaster, Willow, and Flight of the Navigator.
Favorite music	I like a little bit of everything but I currently listen to mostly alternative and rock.
Favorite books	There are far too many to list. I love to read fantasy novels and science fiction.
