About me

Gender Female
Occupation Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
Location Lexington, MA
Introduction I have been involved in the fiberarts since age 8, sewing for my dolls. My mother taught me hand sewing, and later, machine sewing and knitting. But it wasn't until I had my own children that I became so absorbed in creating lovely garments for children. I have taken classes from some very talented people over the years, which has really allowed my skills to expand and evolve. I love classic, tasteful clothing for children. There is nothing that bothers me more than seeing a little child dressed like a punk skateboarder or rapper dude. Babies and children should be dressed age appropriately, in cute, comfortable, timeless clothing. I have no patience for the pharse, "I can't" and I have never been bored for a minute in my entire life. My little grandaughters , who have a Swedish Papa, call me Mormor. Literally it means mother's mother. I love the name, and being a grandmother. I have also come to cherish my sewing, smocking, knitting, spinning and weaving friends. Being with women who share the same passion for the fiberarts is always fun and inspiring. They are a warm and kindhearted group, and I value their friendship. This blog is for them.......you know who you are!
