| Introduction | I am a designer and a craftsperson. I have always been attracted to everyday utilitarian objects. This fascination has existed since childhood when one of my most favorite places to go was the office supply department of any store. SAB-TEC at the University Village in Seattle was absolute mecca to me as a kid. You could leave me there happily for hours, and I never wanted to leave. I am always learning about and experimenting with different mediums. I am particularly drawn to recycled materials, felt, wool, paper, ink, pens, circles, monkeys, crochet, letters and words, linen, glass, pickles, clipboards, paper clips, clips of ALL kinds, cork, cotton and photography. When I am not gardening or sleeping I like to make books, baskets, prints, cards, paper and other ephemera. |
