| Introduction | I'm a fify-somthing women who loves her family, her country and believes in conservative values. I believe that i am responsible for the choices I make, and when I make bad ones, it's not the government or anyone else fault or responsibility to rescue me. I often get tearful when saluting the flag, and I feel like hugging the soldiers I see in the airport...they could be one of my boys. I'm a committed believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and a student of His Word, the Bible. I do not like dogs, mushrooms or Al Sharpton. I love the mountains...it's one of my favorite things about living in the west. |
| Interests | Learning and discussing the two topics they say you should never discuss...religion and politics. Also my beautiful grandchildren. |
| Favorite movies | Especially like true stories. I like "Tombstone", (yes I know it's a bit violent), but it has such great lines..."I'll be your huckleberry", and it's a true story. I really love "Family Man" because it portrays that qenuine happiness comes from the love of family & friends, not in material things. |
| Favorite music | "I Can Only Imagine" by Mercy Me. It's a true 'goosebump' song. |
| Favorite books | My preference is non-fiction. My favorite authors are: Max Lucado, Chuck Swindoll--both very gifted. I have read books by Laura Schlessinger, Ann Coulter, Bill O Reilly, Tammy Bruce & Bernard Goldberg that have really touch me and opened my eyes to important messages. John Grisham also writes some great stories. |
