Introduction Blossoming, underpaid writer; historically unpopular blogger; cultural footnote; overlooked critic; snappy dresser.
Interests Writing, reading, most certainly not arithmetics, coffee (NOT Starbucks), traveling (Japan's up next), music (my collection is too big for my iPod), live theater, clothes shopping, starting to dabble in real estate, museums, a bucket of beer beside the ocean on a summer's day, sports (Red Sox, Bills and then I play golf, softball and ski), walking, oh and living.
Favorite Movies Memento, Big Fish, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Pulp Fiction
Favorite Music Death Cab for Cutie, oh and any Ben Gibbard side project, Our Lady Peace, Tool, the Beatles, the Decemberists, Ben Folds, Deftones, TV on the Radio, Wilco, Radiohead - all these guys get heavy rotation.
Currently, I'm listening to plenty of: Kings of Leon, Minus the Bear, Muse.
Album I've recently redisovered: "Nivana - MTV Unplugged" ... it's one of my top-10 favorite albums of all time, but for some reason, I hadn't loaded it onto my iPod. Inexcusable.
Favorite Books Zorba the Greek (Nikos Kazantzakis), One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (Ken Kesey), Catcher in the Rye (J.D. Salinger), Roaring Lambs (Bob Briner)

You've written a hit musical! How will you avoid having fame go to your head?

That's simple... quick, name the writer of the last new musical to win a Tony? You can't, now can you? So there's no way fame would go to my head, because there's no way I'd be famous. By the way, if you actually did answer that question, I bet you've also asked me if I'd like to try the daily specials and have a list of a dozen salad dressings memorized.
