| Introduction | Jamie is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Cognitive Studies at Teachers College. She currently teaches a Psychology of Media graduate course at Teachers College and Barnard College, part of the Columbia University system. Her research interests include studying plotline complexities in primetime television and children’s cognitive processing within educational programming. Jamie’s career aspirations include focusing on writing academic research, teaching, as well as creating or analyzing children’s television as related to food preparation. In her spare time, she enjoys creating gourmet dishes in her kitchen and feeding her husband. Jamie also enjoys running, drawing, and hosting friends for dinner. Jamie one day would also like to develop an animated show involving culinary arts for children. |
