| Introduction | The daughter of a French noblewoman and a Minnesotan onion farmer, Aama Onionson lived her entire life as part of a small and close-knit family located on the lower fringes of European gentry. In 1988 she moved to London with her parents, where her mother died shortly thereafter from complications due to caviar poisoning. She was homeschooled by her father, who fought in the Korean War and was exposed to nerve gas. As a teen she was sent to finishing school in Belgium and in 1997, she moved to America. Aama began by writing young adult novels, but Scholastic turned down all of her manuscripts. After spending years pleading with every publishing company in the country, she gave up on her dreams and went on a 4 year World of Warcraft hiatus. During this time, she became romantically involved with oO*DaRkW0Lfw1ZrDNeK0*Oo which ended in disaster. Determined to rid herself of the memories of her former love, she began writing romances.
