| Introduction | The Metal Processing plant is strategically located at 201 Mississippi in Gary, Indiana. It is minutes by truck to I-65, the Indiana Tollroad and I-80-94. The plant consists of over 350,000 square feet with expansion capabilities of another 150,000. There are two separate drive through lanes for shipping and receiving master coils as well as a separate E.J.& E. track through the plant. Railcars are moved with our own Trackmobile. The shipping area has 4 docks. Inside the Plant there is 150,000 square feet dedicated to Steel Storage. All coils are stored on wooden coil saddles with particular attention to surface critical material. The plant is equipped with 4 slitters (36",52", 60",72"), 1 cut to length line and 6 overhead cranes with up to 60,000 pound capacity. Customers can track orders and storage through EDI. |
