| Introduction | I am a college student who is currently about to begin "the victory lap" at the University of Kansas. I am majoring in journalism at KU's William Allen White school of journalism. The journalism I grew up with is quickly going the way of the do do. This blog is, in part, an attempt to involve myself in the new face of journalism, the world wide web. This blog is also an attempt to appease my father, the one and only 'Cranky Old Man.' I must admit his lectures are much easier to stomach in on a computer screen were I can hit escape, rather than face to face. One other thing you should know about me. I am a first time dog owner. I will tell you right now, I am shamelessly obsessed with my little furry companion, Tobias. Consider yourself warned. If you think new mom's are obnoxious when they coo over there whining, crying, fat, drool covered, babies, let me tell you, you aint seen nothing yet. I am the daughter of the one and only 'Cranky Old Man'. |
