| Introduction | On September 1, 2007,I retired from the Federal Government after 42 years. I live in a suburb of Washington, DC, in spite of the fact that my husband and I keep talking about where we want to live and throw out such ideas as Palm Springs, San Diego, and almost anywhere sunny and warm. Not sure when or if that will ever happen. Too much trouble to pack up a house of accumulated 40+ years of stuff. So I continue to enjoy my yoga class and reading, watching movies,the bird feeders and squirrels, and above all else crocheting. I always have a project or 2 or 3 going. Shaunti, our miniature poodle, is now quite the young lady and pretty much rules the house. They are the 2nd smartest dog for a reason--to manage their people. My husband and I enjoy traveling and enjoy taking lots of photographs (he takes video, too) and sharing with friends. |

| Favorite Movies | Mamma Mia! is my all time favorite, I've watched it at least 12 times and use it some days while walking on treadmill, Dan in Real Life, Indian Jones Series, Smoky and The Bandit, Camelot, Beaches, The Matrix Series, TV, X-Files, CSI Las Vegas, As Time Goes By, and all science fiction themed TV and movies. Love The Mentalist and Fringe!! |
| Favorite Music | Abba, Country Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, soft rock, instrumental like Yanni and Enya, Jazz, and easy listening. Guess my age is showing!!! |
| Favorite Books | My favorite series is from Diana Gabaldon's The Outlander...read all 7 now so have to wait for about 3 years for #8. Love them. Also like J.D. Robb's Series, Carol O'Connell, Debbie Macomber series, detective series like Donna Leon, Michael Connelly, James Patterson, and Janet Evanovich Stephanie Plum series. P.D. James series and any mystery books. |
