| Introduction | BoogieMonsterMan the toe-tapping, beat-box attempting, air-punching patriotic teenager dressed in all black behind you in public places, who's probably having religious, humanitarian or political debates with the voices in her head...no? Raised up with unshaken morals and ethics, my mind refused to accept injustice in any form, even so as a child. Having two older siblings with me being the youngest, their after-school activities included Qur'an recitation. Their Maulvi once dared to hit my sister (who btw, I couldn't live a day without). My reaction as a 5 year old? Rolling up a thick, glossy magazine, lifting up his skull-cap and whacking him- hard- on this bald skull. The result: he never touched her again, atleast in my presence. Not a lot has changed from back then, except that ofcourse, I'm not violent. I'm currently in my final year of school, working towards being a Human Rights Lawyer and a Journalist. |
