| Introduction | In this blog I share views about environmental matters, with an emphasis on London. I have had a life-long interest in wildlife and, having stepped back from corporate life, I am dedicating more of my time to the environment. I am Chairman of the Surrey and SW London branch of Butterfly Conservation. And I am a novice bee-keeper. I am keen to get more involved in environmental matters in London. The name of this blog comes from the Chalk Hill Blue, Polyommatus coridon (image above). It was the house name chosen by Phil Grey, the person who inspired my interest in butterflies back in the 1960s. The main photo for the blog is the view northwards across London from One Tree Hill LNR in Southwark. |
