| Introduction | Hello, my name is Eddie, the youngest of three, I am a father of two and a grandfather. A lifelong resident of New Jersey, I enjoy spending time with my family, which includes my 9-year-old German Shepherd. I am currently employed as a Security Lieutenant for a healthcare facility. I currently have no experience in the IT industry, but I have been involved with technology for many years. I consider myself a tech-savvy person but far from my goal of being an IT professional. I am currently a student majoring in Cyber and Data Security Technology. I chose this major because I am interested in learning as much as I can about securing and protecting sensitive information against malicious hackers. After eighteen years in my current profession, I feel that it may be time for a change and why not something in the IT field? Something I am passionate about? So here I am, chasing a dream! I work for a great company, so naturally, I would seek an opportunity within and continue to do my part assisting patients as well as staff by protecting their information. Having had my privacy violated in the past taught me a valuable lesson that I will never forget. |
