| Introduction | Born and raised in the Kispiox Valley and after spending 10+ years in Alberta going to school, playing college basketball, working as a welder for a pipeline company, nutritionist, hunting guide, rafting guide, bartender and in a kayak shop - I came home. Since my return, I wrote a bit for the Kispiox Valley Community Newsletter and in those years I have become the mother of two, helped start the Skeena Watershed Conservation Coalition where I still work full-time, started homesteading a property in the Kispiox and learned the finer points of raising rabbits. Needless to say, my time has greatly diminished with the many things going on so I don't update this blog all that often. But when I do, I'm inspired to do so by something so incredibly wonderful or so incredibly awful that I just need to get it out. I hope you find it interesting, educational and thought-provoking.
