Introduction Maryann Cocca-Leffler is the author and illustrator of over 50 books for children including; "Janine", "Princess K.I.M. and The Lie That Grew" (Albert Whitman and Co), "A Vacation for Pooch" (Henry Holt- Christy O. Books), "Bus Route to Boston" (Boyds Mills Press). Maryann illustrated the classic, "Thanksgiving at the Tappleton's" written by Eileen Spinelli (HarperCollins). Her book, "Mr. Tanen’s Ties", was the winner of the FL Reading Award and Hoosier Book Award. Her childhood inspired book, "Bus Route to Boston" won the Parents Choice Award. Maryann has a BFA in Illustration from the Massachusetts College of Art and currently lives and works in NH. Maryann is also a playwright, and has collaborated with a talented team to bring her Princess KIM books to the stage as 'Princess K.I.M. The Musical', which won the 2012 Ronald Ruble National New Play Festival at the Caryl Crane Youth Theatre in Huron, OH. 'Princess KIM The Musical' went on to have productions in New Hampshire, New Jersey and California. Maryann is working to bring her play to the National Stage. For more information, please visit:
