| Introduction | After H.S., with no intention of going to college, I opted for an all inclusive tour of S.E. Asia courtesy of the U.S. Army. Free air,free lodging, free food, cheap beer, free guns & ammo. In 12 months I got a college education worth a lifetime. I don't regret it for a second. I don't forget it for a second either. Nothing is really free. I worked at ORD Airport for 11 years before being fired by the President in 1981, got my job back in 1997 then retired in 2006. I discovered this blog by accident looking for answers to the puzzle and really liked the interaction amongst the group. I've been doing this puzzle since 1965. I've been married for 36 years (42 with the wind chill) and we have two grown children, a son 34, he teaches phys. ed & health at a middle school, and a daughter 30, she is an r.n. @ Childrens Memorial in Chicago. She just delivered our 1st grandchild 3/7/09. A very big baby boy, Cole James. |
