Introduction	I am an English teacher and freelance writer/editor/photographer in a suburb of Dallas, Texas. With three very active kids at home, I often find myself driven dotty by their commotion and eager to "escape" temporarily among the tranquil things in life, such as gardening, reading, cooking and crafts.
Interests	Books, gardening, photography, genealogy, crafts, birding, scrapbooking.
Favorite Movies	Romances and classics, especially those with Cary Grant.
Favorite Music	Classical, and alternative music from my younger days.
Favorite Books	"Rabbit Hill, " "The Crows of Pearblossom, " the Harry Potter series, "Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH" and mysteries.
