Introduction	I was born in Saigon, raised in California and schooled in New York. I teach high school. I have a little boy and a husband. I have been hard at work, writing and drawing a graphic novel called THE BEST WE COULD DO. It is a 15-chapter immigration epic about my parents, their place in history, and my search for my place in my family.
