| Introduction | I am a homeschool mother of three children, one of which has autism. We use the principles of ABA (applied behavior analysis) to implement behavior management programs for him. In addition, he also works on verbal behavior and we use discrete trial training to teach educational skills. I own a music studio and teach private piano and voice lessons. This blog began as a project for a graduate class in Library Science. I have now completed the MLS and decided to continue the blog as a literature review resource for parents, homeschoolers, teachers, and librarians. |
| Interests | I enjoy reading aloud to my children. We have a blast doing science experiments and hands-on projects for our homeschool. |
| Favorite movies | My favorite movies are the Anne of Green Gables trilogy, Star Wars, and Pride and Prejudice (A & E version). |
| Favorite music | My favorite music styles are Christian praise & worship and classical. |
| Favorite books | Ted Dekker is currently my favorite author. It would be hard to narrow down all the books I love, but a few that stick out in my mind are "Christy" and "A Wrinkle in Time." |
