| Introduction | I've been a live-aboard for 7years with my husband Greg and our 19 yr-old cat, Cinnamon. Our northern boat, a Catalina 42 named Comocean, is based in Semiahmoo Marina. Our southern boat, a 1966 Cal 34(hull no. 2) named Gitana is based in San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico. We spend half the year in the north (San Juans and British Columbia) and half in Sea of Cortez & south. This blog describes our adventures and illustrates the beauty and wonder that these areas hold. We sailed from WA to Baja then to Hawaii and back to WA in 2010-11. I decided that I really didn't like the passages that felt like solitary confinement to me. So I set out to buy a second boat. This was accomplished in November 2012. |
