| Introduction | We are in our early 60's that live in the Georgian Bay area of Ontario. Kevin is a retired Mining Engineer who's career led him from nickle mining in northern Manitoba, to Superintended of a potash mine in New Brunswick and from there to Engineering Manager of the world's largest underground mine salt mine in southwestern Ontario. Sandra is a retired Psychiatric nurse who's career varied from hospital nursing, public health nursing and the final 18 years as a Resource Consultant for babies and pre-schooler's with challenging needs. Kevin enjoys woodworking, Sandra quilting and together we enjoy golfing, alpine skiing, camping and cycling. We have two adult daughters, Jenn and her husband Rob and son Sebastian live in Toronto, Amanda is in the Canadian Navy. As a young family we enjoyed camping in a pop-up. We purchased our Mini-light Rockwood in August 2013. We were looking for some adventure spring and fall between skiing and golf in our home area. We prefer provincial and state parks as they offer many outdoor activities and a place for an evening campfire. |
