| Introduction | An elenchus is quite simply a refutation of a proposition wherein one proves the direct opposite of said proposition’s conclusion. Such a refutation takes the form of a syllogistic argument. The Elenchus is a blog designed to express such refutations; illustrating how preposterous religious postulation can be to an open mind. There will be other stories not related to this blog’s elenchic purpose, but nevertheless provide an insight to religion’s psychology. Some of the posts will have an infusion of libertarian thought – to which I am sure will create many detractors and critics. However I firmly believe that it has a necessary utility and can be proven useful for my purposes. I hope you enjoy your time here and find it useful. |
