Introduction	I live and work in New Mills in Derbyshire, which is is an old mill town which is surrounded by the beautiful Peak District landscape. I spend many hours each day crocheting. This is my favourite craft and was taught to me by my grandmother Gladys when I was about 8 years old. I had taken a long break from crocheting whilst raising my family but returned to the craft after taking redundancy from work. My hobby has now become my business and I love the opportunity I have been given to work at something I love. I have adopted my grandparents names "Jim and Gladys" for my label in their memory.
