| Introduction | I am an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene (a Wesleyan-holiness expression of Methodism) and serve, "on loan," as the pastor of Main Street United Methodist Church (New Albany, IN). - I am an Adjunct Professor for Wesley Seminary, where I specialize in Worship. - I have a B.A. from Trevecca Nazarene University, an M.Div. from Nazarene Theological Seminary, and a D.Min. in Worship and Preaching from Asbury Theological Seminary. - I am a member of the Wesleyan Theological Society, the North American Academy of Liturgy, the Charles Wesley Society, the Wesleyan Historical Society, the World Methodist Historical Society, and the Order of the FLAME (World Methodist Evangelism/World Methodist Council); I am on the oversight committee for the Wesleyan Liturgical Society, and I serve on the Worship and Liturgy Committee of the World Methodist Council. I am, also, President of the Wesleyan-Anglican Society. - I am the husband of my wife, Bobbie. We are the proud parents of Sarah & Matthew. Thanks to Sarah and her husband, Dakota, we have two wonderful grandsons, Liam Kal-El and Beckett Barry-Allen, and a beautiful granddaughter, Piper Grey. |
