| Introduction | Funnily enough my love of reading began when 9 year old me wanted to impress someone who I thought of as cool at school. She was talking to a group of us about how great the Mary Kate and Ashley books were and bragging about how many she had read. Having gone to a french school most of us in that class didn't know how to read in English but I was determined to be in on this secret. My mom went to value village the next day and bought me three Mary Kate and Ashley mystery novels and ten years and hundreds of books later, 9 year old me would think I'm pretty cool.
