| Introduction | I am a dead-handsome man of a certain age approximating five decades with piercing eyes and a kempt beard. Though loved by the ladies, I tend to keep to myself almost exclusively. I have a cat called Linus, who was quite a rapscallion until his "snip-snip". He now sleeps quite a lot and appears uninterested in life. He still loves liver. I have recently adopted a second cat, Natesy, who is making me sleep-deprived and emotionally unbalanced. My hobbies include walking for leisure, writing, reading (I have 3000+ books), crossword puzzles, Friday afternoons at the pub, baths and other exciting, perfectly normal pursuits. From time to time I shall be sharing excerpts from my stunning novel-in-progress Low Down Bigtop, which features a crime-solving band of circus freaks. It is still available for publication!
