| Introduction | This life is a journey full of such varied terrains. There are hills and valleys, uphill climbs, and downhill coasts. There are times of wilderness wanderings, and other times along a stream of gently flowing waters. The constant of the whole journey, regardless of the terrain, is the One Who is my Shepherd. He is the One I love and seek to follow in all the steps I take along the path. His name is Jesus. Part of my journey is being mom to two incredible boys. I come from a big family. There are thirteen kids total. My dad was a travelling evangelist, and we always went with him. So, we grew up on the road for the most part, but we had a base we would come back to. Our homes on the road ranged from a Volvo to a twenty-five foot trailer to my favorite.... an orange school bus that Mum and Dad converted into a road home. Did I mention it was bright orange? I still see the image of that bus burned into my retinas when I close my eyes. This life is an adventure, and I am so blessed every day. I pray that I will not be wrapped up with things of this life that don't matter. I want to be available and ready for the Lord to use me each day in whatever way brings glory and honor to Him. |
