Introduction	Our journey to adopt has been an amazing experience... The first seed was planted in 2001 by our son, Josh (now 15). We took him to a Steven Curtis Chapman concert for his birthday. As he sang, “When Love Takes You In”, Josh told us we should adopt. We dismissed it without a thought. In her book L'Abri, Edith Schaeffer wrote, “The thing about real life is important events don't announce themselves...Usually something that is going to change your whole life is a memory before you can stop and be impressed about it.” How true! From that moment our lives have been changed in amazing ways! As a result of God's leading we have a daughter, Sarah Beth, from China, and a son, Gabriel, from Ethiopia.
