About me

Location Greenpoint, Brooklyn, New York, NY
Introduction I moved to New York 210 days ago with a small pocket book and big dreams. Unlike many Atlanta transplants, I didn't come here to be an actor or to make it big with my band--I simply came here to save the world. Who knows what that means. I am something of an idealist. I would consider myself a domestic(ated) feminist meaning I embrace my womanhood and many of the socially assigned roles that that entails. I sometimes desire nothing more than to bake a pie while wearing my pink, flowered apron and high heels. I feel equally comfortable sitting, sipping coffee and debating Marx, Sarte, and Fanon. I am an anthropologist relativist activist, which seems to pose a dichotomy that I am attempting to come to terms with. In the end, as cliche as it sounds, I am just a girl trying to make it in New York, trying to figure out who I am and what I want in life, and trying to have the best time I can while doing it.
