Introduction	In a nutshell: I grew up in Big Lake, a small town in Minnesota. Then, I went off to college at Saint John's University; and I graduated in Spring '08 with a BA in biology. At that point, I didn't have a good idea of what to do with the rest of my life, so I decided to help out in the Peace Corps for a couple of years. After finishing my Peace Corps service at the beginning of 2011, I started the MD program at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. In the summer of 2016, I will start a residency program in pediatrics.
