| Introduction | Starting out with a BA in classics and archaeology I have an MA in eastern Mediterranean archaeology and PhD in Egyptology, both specialising in iconography and cultural interconnections. My academic research favours visual symbolism, hybridity and iconographic exchange, but I also have a soft spot for ancient languages. For lols I write critiques like these. Before doing any of this I worked as a professional artist and theatre designer.
