About me

Location Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
Introduction I started racing when I was 21 and in my second undergrad. From the first workout in the University of New Brunswick Woodlot I was in love. Over the years I have run National Championships, won team championships and keep getting faster. I now live in Vancouver where I work as an occupational therapist and continue to train hard. While at the University of New Brunswick, and as captain of the cross country team, I came out as gay. Running and training stayed the same and became a place for me to go to be normal, fast and just a runner. I am a runner who happens to be gay, both identities shaping my every move. The purpose of this blog is to bring a different voice to running, from a gay perspective.
