| Introduction | Welcome to Walking with the fat-man blog.I am writing not as an health professional but as a guy who is trying to live more healthy. I am sharing information that I am finding most helpful. My focus is on the things we find most challenging. What can help is with our battle with cancer, heart disease and artery health, diabetes, and the battle for mind in regard to dementia. What life style changes and other strategies give us a fighting chance. There will be mentioned people who are living well or have lived well.I am currently in a ministry as interim pastor at Fellowship Bible Church, previously worked in Special Education, mental health, as a missionary in Liberia, Christian camping as a Bible teacher, and a janitor. I still battle weight loss. Let's see going forward I can see changes there.I write about Spiritually from time to time.I hope to spend more time with the topic of challenges facing those with disabilities.
