| Introduction | I grew up in Minneapolis during the '70's. I lived in the inner city in an area with the largest concentration of Native Americans outside of a reservation. My friends were part of the rainbow, and my single Mom worked as a social worker. I studied International Studies at Macalester College across the river in St. Paul. I worked as a promotions person at the college radio station and booked the bands at the annual college event in the Spring. Ever since, I have been in marketing and sales in the music business. Recently my focus has been on publicity and for the past several years, I have written freelance articles in reggae. I have interviewed many artist and served in the capacity of artist liaison allowing me to meet many of the industry's artists and provide resources for them. I believe in the oneness of humanity and I celebrate the our differences and embrace what makes us experience joy. |
