Introduction	I'm just a pastor who likes to share my thoughts and hear from others in an open conversation. In 2008, thanks to a wonderful grant from the Lilly Foundation, Sheryl and I have been blessed with the opportunity to take a renewal leave. That's defined as a 3 to 4 month leave from pastoral ministry. A major portion of our leave will be spent in Tuscany. "Tuscan Rest and Renewal" includes my postings and photos on that time apart. The blog "Morning Comes" is a random reflection on faith, culture and life. It's what I think I think. Thanks for reading. Duane

Favorite music	-Classic Jazz (Clifford Brown, Dexter, Miles, you know...), -Opera (Cavalleria Rusticana is my favorite, go figure "Godfather" fans), -Classic Rock,
Favorite books	I can't even mention titles. However I'll read anything by John Updike and John Irving. I read from the Bible daily and lots more.
