| Introduction | I am what has been referred to as "Far Too Fat". I only weigh 225lbs, but apparently anything over 125lbs at my height (5'4) is just irredeemably disgusting! Of course I wouldn't have known this if I hadn't been told...my whole life...by my doctor. Anyway, after suffering through a secret battle with Anorexia as a young teen, I've gotten to a point in my life where I think this whole focus on weight is a bit ridiculous.To all my sistahs and brothas out there...you're beautiful just the way you are. Be tall, be fat, be thin, be purple, be green...just be yourselves and don't let anyone give you no guff! Besides, what really matters way way more than being beautiful is being smart, and/or brave, and/or funny, and just plain YOU! Go for it, and be far too whatever you are! |

When you've got water stuck in your ear, how do you get it out?
I employ the method I learned back in swimming lessons...stand on one foot, tilt your head in the direction of the "clog" and, while plugging the other ear, hop up and down and shake your head vigorously. Now, while this will invariably make you look rabid, and will most likely lead to some form of bodily injury...it usually works...try it!
